Description of Small Works Holiday show:

From Nov. 5, 2025 through April 21, 2026, the galleries at the Watkins House at the Arlington Common will host a small works show. Aiming for an audience during the holidays in Nov. and Dec. The show seeks to appeal to visitors looking to purchase art that is relatively small and affordable. The works can include photographs, paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, and fabric art (but not limited to these media) should have an image no larger than 24" in its longest dimension. 

On January 13, works may be taken down or refreshed for further display in the next 3 months.

The Arlington Common will take a 25% commission on all sales.

Artists are invited to submit 4 works. If space allows all four will be shown. However, if the number of submissions is high, the Common reserves the right to hang only 3 works by each artist.

Two-dimensional works should be framed with wires for hanging or have a way to hang the work on hooks. Those submitting three dimensional works should provide pedestalsfor display. One glass case will be available to exhibit jewelry and other very small pieces.

Works should be dropped off at the Watkins House between 10 am and 3 pm on Wed., Nov. 5. Early drop offs will be allowed with notice. 

All works should be removed on Tuesday, April 21 between 10 and 3 pm.
